Mooring Wire Reels ex Tanjung Langsat to Poti – November, 2014.
CNC Freight Services Sdn. Bhd. handled on behalf our US partner and fellow GPLN / WWPC member a door to port shipment of Mooring Wire Reels from Tanjung Langsat in Johor, Malaysia to Poti, Georgia to be used for British Petroleum’s Shah Deniz project.
In this particular shipment, we arranged for part-charter vessel to call directly into Tanjung Langsat port, where shipper’s factory is located.
Loading into vessel’s hold was performed by a 500 ton rated Monitowoc Ringer Crane. With careful co-ordination on wharfside and on vessel by CNC personnel, the loading operation was carried out quickly and smoothly without any incident.
